Working with Alexey was the absolute best experience I could have asked for in selling my first house! In the aftermath of Helene, I made the decision to move back up north. My house was fine, no damage, but it was time to go back home. I reached out to a realtor a friend recommended, but I received no response. I was on a tight time frame for moving and I decided that I would just contact a realtor once I was settled in Wisconsin. Why stress myself with trying to find and then deal with a realtor as I was scrambling to pack an entire house in 5 days?
I was in a packing frenzy when I had a knock my front door (how I heard it, I don’t even know!) To my surprise, a realtor stood there, handing out flyers for an open house in my neighborhood (this wasn’t even 2 weeks after the storm!). We talked and Alexey agreed to return that evening to further discuss selling my house.
Alexey arrived with a thorough presentation of what to expect working with him as well as comparable listings in the area. I was so impressed with his preparation on such short notice, along with his knowledge, work ethic, and demeanor. I felt comfortable and confident working with Alexey from that first meeting! I went to the open house the next day and was just floored by the signage and presentation. Seeing how much effort he put into that other house confirmed my thoughts from the previous meeting. Alexey would definitely work hard to sell my house.
Throughout the selling process, Alexey was very communicative, always keeping me informed with what was happening and what the next steps of the process would be. If I had any questions or wanted input during negotiations, Alexey would get back to me promptly, whether it was a phone call or text. With the negotiations, he listened to what I wanted (and didn’t want) to do, and also gave solid recommendations. I never felt like he pushed me to just agree to something to get the sale done; he truly listened and worked with me on what I wanted.
I am beyond grateful that Alexey showed up at my door that afternoon! For selling my first house, after a hurricane, while Asheville had no water, and doing it while I am out of state, I feel that because of Alexey this process has been as smooth and low stress as I could have asked for! I am a widow and I am not familiar with selling houses. My house was 95 years old and it had been in my family since 1949. It was bittersweet to sell the house but I needed to move on. Alexey came to my rescue and helped me sell this house. There were many roller coaster experiences in trying to get the house ready to sell. Alexey was there the entire time. I needed a driveway installed and Alexey found the right person. I needed a plumber to move the water meter and again Alexey found the right person.
